It’s never a dull night with Matt jamming blues riffs and gyrating through the crowd. Add Chuck on drums and it’ll be one to remember.

This Thursday night, 9pm at Grey’s Tavern, right next door to The Green Bean on South Elm.

Bruce Piephoff CD Release Party… Like Clockwork

17 albums deep, the prolific Bruce Piephoff will be playing on the porch of the Lindley Park Filling Station this Friday night from 6pm – 10pm. He’ll be backed up by his musical friends to celebrate the release of his latest album, Clockwork.

For us cost conscious cats in this horrible economy, the cover has been set at not $10… not $5… but FREE.

See you there.

Harvey’s Kitchen: Filthybird

These wonderful musicians will be headlining the next DMP show on April 30th (along with Albina Savoy). Hope to see you out that night.

And save the Monkeywhale, won’t you?

ArtBeat Greensboro is a week long festival of the arts and non-profit organization founded by Triad Stage, Eastern Music Festival and Greensboro Symphony to attract more patrons to Gate City’s theaters. Initially the festival modeled itself after the 17-day Spoleto festival in Charleston, SC. [...]

This year’s music lineup looks amazing.
