As someone who works with a Fortune 100 company by day and then goes DIY as a show promoter at night — setting up & breaking down with a volunteer crew — I can totally relate to this ad.

We’re going to re-assign the original show poster to become our online flier, as those puppies were expensive as monthly full color prints. Now we can hang posters for three months at a time at one-third the cost.
For those financial industry hacks out there, such a foreign concept is called being thrifty.
If you’re local to the Greensboro area and you’ve been pondering how you might be able to help with the project, it would be huge if you’d print off a few of these bad boys and post them at your favorite hangs.

I should have realized the evening was going to be special when the audience took it upon themselves to arrange rows of seats.
Civility at a DMP show; who would’ve thunk it?
Rhiannon Giddens, Laurelyn Dossett and Scott Manring drew in a listening crowd, and they didn’t disappoint. Words can’t do justice to the music these folks created, so keep an eye out for the live albums. Until then, I’ll update this post with pictures as they start to roll in.
