Progress In The City

new york city, buildings, skyscraper

My friend, DeWitt Clinton, shot this on a recent trip to NYC. Beautiful framing and texture, but he’s not a photographer by trade; he’s a search engineer at Google.

Scan through his shots and you just might catch his fascination with patterns and elegance — traits that would be prerequisites for becoming a Googler, I’d imagine.

Is your friend’s name really DeWitt Clinton? And if so, is he related to the famous Governor and/or steam engine? As a New Yorker by birth, and a railroad fan by choice, I’m in awe!

yeah, that’s really his name. i’m guessing he hears that about as much as me being made aware by conscientious rednecks that it must be rough living with my surname.

    oh really, why’s that?…
